Maintenance Manager at Las Vegas

GENCO has an opening for a Maintenance Supervisor for potential new business in a 135,000 sq. ft. facility with 100 plus teammates located in Las Vegas, Nevada



The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for:


  • Supervising, training and coaching maintenance and teammates

  • Maintaining facility equipment and systems preventative maintenance

  • Assisting management in ensuring facility equipment and systems reliability

  • Adhering to and enforcing the company safety policies

  • Assisting in meeting facility production, quality and safety goals

The successful candidate will have:


  • A BA/BS degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Minimum of three (3) years of facilities maintenance experience; preferably in a distribution and/or manufacturing environment

  • Possession of a valid motor vehicle license and willingness to operate motor vehicles in the course of this employment

  • Demonstrated technical knowledge of battery maintenance, HVAC, welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, PLCs, D.C. Controllers, A. C. Drives powered lift equipment and conveyor automated systems to include divert sorting equipment

  • Previous safety and maintenance training experience

  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot repair needs

  • A good working knowledge of 5S

English speaking and/or Bilingual benefit educators are needed to conduct employee meetings and benefit fairs for Henderson, Nevada and the surrounding areas. Enrollers for these projects need a human resources, benefits, finance and/or insurance background in order to explain benefit plans to groups of employees. The Benefit educator position is a part-time job with short-term temporary assignments which provide supplemental income. The assignments are on an as needed basis. The incumbent is assigned to the Sub-Specialty Surgical Clinics/ENT Surgery section of the Office of Nursing Service . The section, care line, or department description and patient population served is as defined in applicable Scope of Service.
