Physicist, Clinical Instructor

We are looking for a charismatic medical physicist to join our clinical instructor team in Las Vegas - training customers and employees on the underlying principles and safe, effective use of Varians treatment planning, imaging and treatment delivery systems. This individual will instruct students via classroom lectures and laboratory sessions, and will be able to contribute meaningfully to the clinical and professional standing of our education department. The role allows for other varied duties, such as: curriculum development, travel to hospital sites for training, attending trade shows, and working closely with engineering and marketing.

Requirements: Masters or PhD in medical physics; ABR certification preferred. A minimum of four years of clinical experience in radiation therapy with at least some exposure to Varian products. The ideal candidate will have experience of IGRT, IMRT/VMAT planning and QA, linear accelerator commissioning, and clinical research. It is essential that the candidate has excellent presentation, communication and customer service skills. A formal teaching qualification would be an advantage.
