Cost Accountant

Classification: Accountant - Cost

Compensation: $60,000.00 to $75,000.00 per year

A rapidly growing company in Southern Nevada is expanding their accounting team and needs to add a highly motivated Cost Accountant. This is an excellent opportunity to advance your career with a growing company. As the Cost Accountant, your responsibilities will consist of, but will not be limited to the following:

1.) Performing inventory analysis and valuation
2.) Establishing cost accounting procedures and metrics
3.) Working with company management on achieving corporate initiatives
4.) Implementing process improvements and streamlining cost accounting procedures

1.) At least 4 years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing capacity
2.) Experience with ERP systems
3.) Strong accounting foundation and knowledge of GAAP
