Windows Adminstrator/Active Directory Engineer

We are currently looking for a senior Active Directory Consultant for our direct client in Las Vegas.

The candidate must have experience with the management, and problem solving of ActiveDirectory, Active Directory replication, Group Policies, DNS, DHCP, WINS, Active Directorygroups, AD trusts at forest and domain levels, backup and recovery of domain controllers, and Microsoft Exchange. The candidate will possess strong knowledge of networking and TCP/IP.  In addition, the candidate will demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills, excellent analytical and problem solving skills, ability to work in a team environment, and possess strong ability to interface with clients. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESCandide must have at least 4 years of hands-on Active Directory operational experience in large enterprise organizations (5,000+ users)       Knowledge of the following:

• Windows 2003, Windows 2008,   Windows XP, and Windows 7 operating systems
• ActiveDirectory operations in   large multi-forest environments
• Exchange 2003 / 2007 /2010   supporting 10,000+ mailboxes
• Exchange 2003/2007/2010 monitoring   and disaster recovery
• Blackberry Enterprise Server   maintenance and troubleshooting
• Group Policy concepts
• Power Shell scripting
• Virtualization Technologies
• DNS, DHCP, and WINS
• Replication topology and   management for forest and domains
• Disaster recovery planning and   execution of domain controllers
• Forest, domain, and realm trusts  
• Securing Windows and ActiveDirectory
• Certificates and PKI
• Managing and troubleshooting ActiveDirectory replication for forests and domains
• Managing FSMO roles for forests and domains
• Managing ActiveDirectory schema for forests and domains
• RODCs
• TCP/IP and networking
• Excellent troubleshooting skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills

SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

• At Least 4 years of experience working in a large enterprise with Windows 2003 / 2008 Active Directory and Exchange 2003 / 2007 / 2010 environment supporting 20,000+ users.
• Current active certifications Windows 2003 MCSE, Windows 2008 MCITP, Exchange 2003 /2007/2010 certifications preferred
