Maintenance Manager at Las Vegas

The Manager, Maintenance - Las Vegas is responsible for maintaining and overseeing the maintenance program for the power equipment at the Las Vegas PowerMax facility. This position is responsible for directing skilled maintenance technicians in the repair and maintenance of the sortation equipment, conveyors, powered lift equipment, HVAC equipment, building, and grounds.

Position Responsibilities / Essential Functions:

1.Develop and maintain a preventative maintenance program for the equipment of the PowerMax facility. Maintain current records of services and expenses.

2.Develop best work practices, monitor team performance, and develop programs to minimize and track equipment downtime.

3.Manage the annual budget for the facilities maintenance and repairs including capital projects.

4.Direct skilled maintenance personnel in the repair and maintenance of electrical and mechanical sortation equipment.

5.Control and maintain inventory of spare parts to support the preventative maintenance program.

6.Develop and control procedures for repair and housekeeping services.

7.Develop, train and monitor safe work practice for the facility.

8.Keep in compliance and informed on OSHA regulations.

9.Demonstrate a commitment to OfficeMax core values.

 Requirements 

 

Education, Certification & Licenses:

This position requires knowledge of facility and equipment maintenance as well as quantitative methods acquired through formal education or 2 - 3 years on-the-job application. High School diploma or GED with 2 years in a technical or trade school a plus.

Experience:

Minimum 5 years experience in a warehouse or distribution facility

Computer Skills:

Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook

Additional Information:
