Performs a wide variety of electronic, electro-mechanical, mechanical or measurement product assembly operations on product components, assemblies or sub-assemblies. Follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, cable harnessing, and fitting on assembly units. Makes setups and adjustments holding tolerances to established documentation.
- Bolts, clips, screws and fastens parts together
- Utilizes hand tools in assembly operations
- Follows manufacturing process documentation
- Documents completion of production processes
- Identifies and communicates needed assembly corrections.
- Trains and mentors less experienced personnel
- Influences manufacturing processes, procedures and production schedule
- Provides feedback into the performance review of junior level employees (level IV)
