We seek AANC Adult or Family Nurse Practitioners or NCCPA Physician Assistants to join our Lifestyle Center team. As an NP/PA in the Senior Center, you will be working in a team to care for senior patients in holistic setting. The care you will be providing to seniors emphasizes wellness and educating senior patients on preventive measures to keep them healthy.

You will be assigned a physician preceptor and you will work in partnership with this physician. Clinic hours are M-F with no weekends. This is a busy Team Care clinic practice, with locations in the NW and SE areas of the Las Vegas valley.

Qualifications:

Required qualifications:

Advanced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant certification
Certification in Primary Care, Geriatric, Adult
Active unrestricted License in the State where this position is based, or ability to obtain
Minimum 6 months documented clinical practice experience either in primary care, retail, emergency medicine or urgent care settings, or prior experience as a physician
Ability to communicate with patients, primary care team members and management staff.
Ability to make care decisions based on best medical practices without direct supervision or guidance by a physician.
Basic technical proficiency in the use of computer programs for medical records or internet search for clinical practice
Advanced assessment and treatment plan implementation skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Geriatric care experience
Knowledge of mental health issues
Familiarity with Medicare and ICD-9 coding
DEA License preferred
