Primary Responsibilities:

Develop detailed source to target mapping from client data to our data specifications and explain the mapping to internal technical team members.
Keen knowledge of healthcare, and even if theyve not worked in claims, they can show they have a basic understanding of how healthcare systems interact with claims.
Strong communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, strong analytic skills, flexibility in how they interpret data to stakeholders.
Develop strategies and standards to improve the customer onboarding process and experience.
Strong database experience and the ability to query data, compile data analysis, trends, error analysis and other information to assist clients to improve their data quality.
Develop detailed source-to-target data mapping and data transformation rules.
Act as the liaison between Business and Systems Analysts, Developers and project management groups within UnitedHealth Group.
Develop strategies to improve service development life cycle and governance processes.
Plan and manage assignments of varying scope.
Provide a broad business approach.
Resource to senior leadership.

Develops pioneering approaches to emerging industry trends.  RequirementsRequirements:

Bachelors Degree OR High School Diploma/GED + 5 years of equivalent work experience

2+ years of EDI experience with 837, 999, 277 and other standard EDI formats is required

5+ years of Data Analysis experience

5+ years of experience working with and knowledge of Relational Databases such as SQL Server and Oracle

5+ years of experience writing and maintaining data specifications

Experience with Medical Claims
Assets:

Medicare experience as it relates to risk adjustment or submissions is preferred

Proficiency with MS Office (Including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access)

Proficiency with MS Project

Proficiency with MS Visio

Healthcare Industry experience

Experience with direct customer contact

Experience working with multiple cross-functional teams
