Case Manager/Direct Care Worker at Las Vegas

Job Description

Will manage a caseload of individuals with developmental disabilities.  Will ensure that the health and safety of the individuals served is maintained.  Will respond to crisis as needed.  Will assist in developing the Individual Support Plan (ISP) as well as completing quarterly progress reports.  Will provide oversight of direct care staff.  Will interact with state representatives and agency administrators as needed.  Will attend and participate in ISP meetings and other meetings as needed.  Will provide assistance and training to individuals with developmental disabilities throughout their home environment and community. Will assist in the development and implementation of individuals support plans as part of a residential habilitation/supportive living program.  Will assist individuals in gaining social capital and living a life of normalcy.  Currently hiring full time and part-time positions.  Experience preferred but not required.  Spanish speakers welcomed!!!

Will pay between $13-14 per hour for 30 hours a week of case manager work and $10 per hour for 10 hours of direct care work.

Job Requirements

• Must have at least two years of experience working with individuals will developmental disabilities.
• Must have at least one year of supervision experience and/or one year of case management experience.
• CNA certification a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
• Nevada Drivers License required.
• CPR certification is required. We offer monthly training.
• Must be willing to take a state/federal criminal history check.  Prospective employees who have a felony on their record or a history of violence or exploitation will not be hired.
• Must have good documentation skills
• Maintain respectful and appropriate attitude towards individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Have a vehicle.
