Compensation: $51,300.99 to $62,700.99 per year

Web Developer Are you a UI Guru? A master of the cloud? Can you build web-apps that can be scaled with ease? Were looking for someone that has a passion for development to grow our web-based training platform and the self-motivation to follow through with it. Were virtual so we need you to have the drive to get things done. And theres a lot that we need done!What youd be doing:Determining requirements for the apps and figure out development plans and time estimates Developing and extending websites using PHP, jQuery, and MySQL on LinuxPerforming light web design byconverting mockups to HTML and CSS and making sure the sites will render in multiple browsersPerform user-acceptance testing of your own code before deploymentDeveloping and maintaining the teams codebase in GitImplementing a testing and continuous integration systemSupport and work with a DevOps team for deployment and maintenance of the systemsManaging deployment of websites and website changesWork normal office hours from home without close supervisionWhat youve already done:Developed a deep knowledge of Software design, Object Oriented Programming, Data Modeling (objects and database), Unit Testing, Continuous Integration, and Secure Coding PrinciplesHave at least 4 years of experience developing web applications with PHPBuilt a solid understanding of PHP-based MVC frameworks, we prefer CodeIgniter.Gained a solid understanding of the main Web technologies: JavaScript & jQuery, CSS, HTML, AJAX, XML, JSON, and HTTP
