Guest Service Agent at Jackpot



To provide quality guest services consistently and professionally while performing the necessary duties required of a Front Desk Agent. Ensures that Housekeeping cleans all rooms prior to issuing room keys. Greet, register and assign rooms to guests. Sort and rack incoming mail and messages. ensures the timely delivery of all messages, mail and packages left for guests and departments within the Hotel/Casino. Answer inquiries pertaining to hotel services, shopping, dining and travel directions. keep records of room availability and guest accounts manually or by computer. Compute bills, collect payments, and make changes accurately for the guests. Post charges to guests bill. Receives cash, checks, credit cards and comps in payment, obtaining proper approval and authorization. Maintains an operating bank, renders bills and issues change. Responsible for the control of safe deposit transactions. Make and confirm room reservations for guests. Adhere to established policies and procedures regarding customer service standards. Be responsible for the security of guest information withing the system. Be a marketer of Cactus Petes and the Horseshu Hotels by promoting the facilities, services programs and events. Accurately utilize Box Office Ticketing system. Empowered to ensure guests problems/complaints are resolved in a prompt, courteous and efficient manner.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Superior customer service skills required.
Experience in computer use, data entry and dealing with the public preferred.
Prior experience within the hospitality or related industry is preferred.
Strong interpersonal skills are necessary.
Must be able to stand/walk 100% of shift.
Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization.
