Marketing Specialist III
Responsibilities:
This position within the Product Marketing department will be responsible for the creation and delivery of product value propositions, positioning and messaging for Systems in order to improve IGTs awareness and preference in the systems area throughout the various sales cycle stages.
Responsible for the creation and propagation of the core messaging of IGT Systems products. Works with Product Management to understand the product strategy and features to create the value proposition and positioning. This includes translating features into benefits, highlighting product differentiation amongst the competitive battlefield, and tailoring the message for different audiences.
Responsible for working with integrated team to create and complete product marketing plans and deliverables committed to in each fiscal year. Responsible for input into the outbound marketing programs and ensuring consistent messaging with the vision set forth by executives.
Various collateral must be created for both New Product Introduction and Install Base programs including product literature, web content, major event presentation content, sales presentation content, product FAQ sheets, product positioning documents and sales education tools. To achieve deadlines and manage content creation process timelines this candidate must work closely with corporate communication and creative services partners.
Ideal candidate must be project management oriented, have extremely efficient levels of PowerPoint and some exposure to other creative software such as Adobe is preferred. Previous experience in casino gaming and marketing bonusing applications & CMS systems preferred. Prior experience with IGT systems as an operator or within a supporting IGT infrastructure department is preferred. Technical and Product Marketing education and experience preferred. Candidate must be able to work independently under remote management and maintain clear communication and project schedules. Should have a proven history of being able to foster and maintain critical internal departmental relationships to be successful.
Qualifications:
· BS/BA degree required or equivalent experience
· 5-7 years of experience tech marketing, product marketing and or product management preferably in gaming or high-tech environment
· Consideration for candidates with extensive IGT systems background and exposure in supportive departments
· Expertise in messaging and communications
· Experience and aptitude for working with Web, AR, PR, events, sales literature, and other channels of communication
· Extremely proficient in PowerPoint and presentation creation
· Ability to carefully plan and execute marketing plans as well as specific tactical deliverables
· Aptitude for learning
· Prefer expertise in or understanding of gaming, casino operators, and/or application systems
