General Ledger Accountant at Reno

Job Description

Classification: Accountant - Staff

Compensation: $40,000.00 to $45,000.00 per year

Robert Half is working with a premier gaming client in Northern Nevada to identify a General Ledger accountant to join their team! In this role, the General Ledger Accountant will be responsible for preparing interim and year end comparative financial reports, will assist with month and year end close and the corresponding journal entries, will prepare government reports as necessary and assist the Controller with year end audit coordination. Additionally, the role will be responsible for ensuring proper documentation to meet compliance requirements, and work collectively with the finance team to meet departmental objectives.

Job Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidate must have a minimum of two years experience in a high volume, fast paced environment, degree is preferred but experience in lieu of will be considered, must have intermediate to advanced skills in Excel, work well in a team environment at all levels and have very strong organizational skills.
