PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Restocker:
• Report to restock area to load cases from pallet to cart.
• Scan label on cases.
• Verify that label matches case description and content.
• Travel to designated low bay bin location to replenish product according to standards.
• Able to fold product neatly.
• Move empty boxes to appropriate location.
• Meet minimum production and accuracy requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.

 

Puller:
• Report to print station (queue) to receive customer order/pick list.
• Read pick list to determine style, color, size, quantity and customer notes.
• Verify box/bag size needed and select appropriate size to pick order in.
• Verify merchandise in bin location matches item on pick list accurately.
• Must look at product to confirm style, color and size.
• Visually inspect product to confirm there are no irregularities, damages, etc.
• Able to fold product neatly.
• Meet minimum production and accuracy requirements.
• After assembling customer order from stock, places order on conveyor to packing station.
• Other duties as assigned.

 

 

Job Requirements

MUST HAVE SKILLS:

 

 • Demonstrates the ability to follow directions and change priorities or job duties as business needs require; rotate to restock function as needed. Participate in physical inventories and cycle counts on an as needed basis.
• Maintains a safe, neat and clean work area by adhering to SanMars safety regulations.
• Able to clean while working, open cases and remove debris from restock and lo-bay areas as needed.
• Able to work independently.
• Welcome, help and teach new employees as required.
• Assist in building a positive and productive work environment.
• Mandatory overtime may be required.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Restocker:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is constantly required to walk and stand. The employee frequently lifts and/or moves up to 50 pounds. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms, handle or feel, to pull/push cart with product, grasp and perform repetitive hand, wrist and arm motions. The employee is frequently required to climb, kneel/squat, bend and carry. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. 
 

 

Puller:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is constantly required to walk and stand. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms, handle or feel, to pull/push cart with product, grasp and perform repetitive hand, wrist and arm motions. The employee is frequently required to climb, kneel/squat, bend and carry. The employee occasionally lifts and/or moves up to 40 pounds, and seldomly lifts and/or moves up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
 

ADDITIONAL SKILLS/PROFESSIONAL CHARACTERISTICS:

 

• High School Education preferred but not required.
• Comprehend oral and written instructions.
• Should be able to read, write, and have sufficient ability to identify colors, sizes, quantity, label and SKU information. 
• Must have basic math skills in counting and quantity.
• Strong attention to detail.
 

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

 

 

Work environment is moderately noisy. The employee is occasionally required to work near conveyor systems. There is exposure to dust and changes in weather conditions. Employee must be able to handle stress that is involved in meeting strenuous customer deadlines, working in high volume areas, and be flexible and able to interact with employees at all levels.
