Senior Accountant- Fast track to Controller at Las Vegas

Classification: Accountant - Senior

Compensation: $75,000.00 to $100,000.00 per year

Joe Franco (702-732-2759) with Robert Half Finance & Accounting has an exciting opportunity available for a Senior Accountant that is looking to play a vital role and make an immediate impact within the organization. This opportunity offers an excellent compensation package, full benefits paid by the employer, immediate opportunity for advancement (Controller) and a 401 (k). The ideal Senior Accountant must have a minimum of 5 years experience, CPA license or actively pursing your CPA license, Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field and the ability to work with various different personalities. As a Senior Accountant, you will assist with developing, implementing, and managing various initiatives geared around procedures and automation. Additionally, you will be responsible for creating monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for several entities. Other duties will consist of reconcilaitions, journal entries and the close process. Job Requirements

- CPA or actively pursuing your CPA license Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or related field Masters in Accountancy is desirable A minimum of 5 years hands on experience (GL, Monthly Close, Preparing Financial Statements) Ability to work in a fast paced / high volume setting with various personalities
