Sr. Events Representative at Las Vegas

Responsibilities:
Provides event planning and execution support for trade shows, national and regional sales meetings, promotions, seminars and other major IGT sponsored or supported events. Excels at project management for tradeshows and events as well as other marketing-related activities including but not limited to casino operator and casino player promotions, product launches and publicity. Candidate must be initiative-driven self starter with good planning, written and verbal communication skills.

· Maintain the calendar of corporate events
· Maintain relationships with show management in order to stay informed of show developments, secure the best floor space possible and obtain the most appropriate corporate sponsorships
· Oversee all aspects of individual trade shows and events as assigned
· Assist as needed with other trade shows and corporate events
· Create, maintain and evaluate all operational procedures for trade shows and events to ensure productivity, functionality and adherence to budget
· Maintain inventory of exhibits and related equipment that is housed at IGT and in off-site locations
· Ensure that all components of exhibits are relevant and consistent with the corporate image
· Provide support for additional marketing activities as needed, such as casino operator and casino player promotions, project management, or writing assignments.

Qualifications:

· Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
· Typically has 5-8 years of experience in marketing, trade show productions, promotions or related marketing activities in addition to general marketing experience
· Has advanced basic knowledge of / skills in the content areas of:
o Tradeshow / event planning
o Casino promotion and product launch planning
o Communication skills, both oral and written
o Ability to “think on your feet” in complex situations
o Ability to positively represent IGT during events
o Typically has advanced basic knowledge of marketing / event marketing field
o Experience with casino industry promotions a plus
